I filled a block of holes with frets cut to length. Now hammering them into place.
The cavities are all filled with yellow tape. Next step is to cover the body in a layer of blue dye, before lacquering. The grain should show through nicely
A burst of these two blues is very tempting.
This is a lot less worrying than I thought it would be. I’m doing ebony dots, because I needed the contrast.
