Using the plunge router is a bit nerve wracking, but this is how you get a control cavity. I have my template stuck to the front of the guitar and I’m using it as a guide.
Using a forstner bit on the drill press to bore out a bunch of material for the front control cavity.
The guitar, neck, fretboard, and pickguard material arranged mostly where they will be if all goes well by the end.
