Yesterday was a wild day, involving hotel checkout, various transport methods, a hectic day in the workshop, several near-disasters, and all on top of the exhaustion of having spent the last 2 weeks like this. But it is done. It’s indisputably a working guitar. I have yet to play it very much, because playing at the workshop was deemed gauche somehow, and I visited friends last night and didn’t want to just be off playing guitar in a corner on my own. I’ll write something up about some of the problems, mistakes, things that look like mistakes but are actually design decisions, and happy accidents (mainly that blue), but for now, I’ll have a cup of coffee and spend my morning playing my guitar!
